Crossing the Finish Line: great-G-giveaway

The great-G-giveaway has left White Bluff, TN. CONGRATULATIONS Mr. Bill from New York. Mr Bill is 70 years young & stated he has wanted a G for several years. Bill stated his neighbor had one he was hoping to purchase, but he sold it. Then a few weeks later Dan M. & I called him stating he won this G. Mr. Bill called us back the next day thinking it was a scam a joke we were pulling his leg. Even had someone else call us asking. Well, today was no joke Mr. Bill drove 1020 miles to pick up the great-G-giveaway tractor. Jamie & I hoped it would go to a good home & after meeting Mr. Bill we think that is the case. He let Jamie load it because he stated Jamie was more used to it than he was. Mr Bill has a B & 330 & 5020 and a few other tractors at home in New York so the G will have good company. This is the first G to leave our home & not be coming back, but Jamie & I are thrilled it has a new home. Again, Congratulations to Mr. Bill Hanehan.

At the CGR23 banquet on Saturday night we drew a name to win a new John Deere pedal tractor. The drawing was for anyone under the age of 17. The winner was Camden Wilson from western Indiana. Today I had the privilege of delivering that pedal tractor to Camden. To say the least he was very excited. Congratulations to Camden and his family. I think we might have a new Classic Green fan for life. It was a great experience and they are such a nice family. Three little boys ages 5, 4 and almost 3. Camden is the youngest.
